NORTH TOUR I
DIEGO - MONT AMBER - ANKARANA - BACK DIEGO

Day 1 - DIEGO-SUAREZ/MONTAGNE OF AMBER / DIEGO-SUAREZ
Assistance to the airport, flight to Diego-Suarez, meeting with our correspondent and departure by car with a guide for “Montagne d’ambre”, massive volcanique mountain. This tropical forest with 1 475 m above sea level is very rich in fauna and flora such as lemurs, chameleons, civet cats, Orchids, canarium, Eugenia … Crater lakes and water falls are also present in that forest. Picnic lunch. Back to Diego and accommodation half board at the Hotel L 'Emeraude.”

Day 2 - DIEGO-SUAREZ/ANKARANA

08.00: After breakfast, drive to Ankarana Park. The 1st stage: visit the red Tsingy, Dante landscape composed of sandstone, limestone and marl. Ideal for the beginning of understanding the geological history of the sedimentary basin of the northern tip of Madagascar and the phenomena of erosion, Lavaka; picnic lunch, the afternoon ,drive to e Ankarana. Visit the loss of river. Visit small Tsingy about 500 meters from the camp and then down the 164 steps on a small climb to reach the bats ‘s cave. Back to the camp. trek through the Tsingy and the "Lac vert" of Ankarana. Afternoon, visit of a cave to see "Stalagmite and stalagtite", historically known as hidden place for the Antakarana tribe during the monarchy period. (NB: During the rainy season, visits are planned Le Petit Tsingy, cave bats and loss of water). Nightlife tour in search of lemurs and sometimes fosa. Bivouac full board.

Day 3 - ANKARANA / DIEGO-SUAREZ

Leave the camp des Princes to 6 hours to visit the Tsingy du Lac Vert on which we can see a panorama of the massif of limestone spines very strange. Back to camp for lunch picnic. After lunch departure to return to Diego-Suarez. Stop en route to visit the villages researchers sapphires. Half board accommodation at the Hotel L 'Emeraude.

Day 4 - DIEGO-SUAREZ/ANTANANARIVO

Transfer to the airport and flight to Antananarivo.
