







DIEGO SUAREZ
D/1 : Montagne d’Ambre National Park
Montagne d‘Ambre is a volcanic range offering several botanical trails, crater lakes, great cascades and providing home for abundant wildlife including numerous rare reptiles, lemurs and 70 species of birds. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve.
D/2 : Ankarana
Two days excursion 4x4 fuel and driver, the entrance to the reserve and guide included; to discover the secret of "tsingy" (mountain peak composed of stone) and caves in the mountains of Ankarana. Stay in camp with full board.
D/3 : Red Tsingy
Located 62 km from Diego, not far from the reservation of Analamera is Tsingy the Reds. Who are the result of the erosion and carved over time, these colorful and phantasmagorical, unique to Madagascar. If we can not compare the appearance to that of their neighbors and any other: it 's not as monolithic sharp knives but ephemeral sculpted formations depending on the vagaries of wind and rain.
D/4 : The Windsor Castle and the Bay of mail
A monolith above of a rocky mountain high of 393 m, Windsor Castle, a historic place still leaves traces of fortifications reflecting the occupation forces of Vichy during the 2nd World War. Offering a panoramic view and beautiful until the tip of Cap d 'Ambre in the north, south: the Bay of mail, to the west: the islets and Hao Hara in the Mozambique Channel. And to the east: the city of Diego with its beautiful bay.
D/5 : Three bays
Known around the world by their beauty, a turquoise sea bordered by long beaches of fine white sand. The first Bay Sakalava, a windsurfing spots in Madagascar, followed by the Bay Pigeons and finally by the Bay Dunes. And after two islands accessible on foot in low tide.
D/6 : Mountain of the French and brought back
Mass of 350 and 450 m from altitude of 16 km long and wide from 4 to 5 km. Formationo limestone 150 million of the year, if there is essentially xerophytes plants, the Andansonia Madagascariensis, the euphorbia, and Pachypodium. Thus crowned lemurs and many species of birds. Containing part of the story of Diego, formerly housed some 500 French soldiers.
